Clinic hours are 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday with limited weekend and holiday duties to care for the animals that live at the clinic.
This means one hour of work would be required every other weekend.
(Please do not apply if allergic to cats and/or dogs).
Duties include medical treatments, animal restraint, surgical assistance, general cleaning, collecting and preparing laboratory samples.
Assistants will learn to perform in house laboratory tests, take dental and whole-body digital films, placing IV catheters, assisting with ultrasounds and helping clients in reception.
Candidate must be able to lift 40 lbs and work for extended periods of time on their feet.
Wages vary depending upon experience.
