For Sale: 1978 Ford F150 in Cave Creek, Arizona for sale in Cave Creek, AZ
Vehicle Description One of the nicest 1978 Ford F150 Lariat's on the market today.
I bought this truck from an elderly gentleman in South Dakota in 2016.
I paid 20k for it and had it shipped.
The day I got it he called and said that's a nicer truck than you thought, isn't it.
He was right.
The exterior was in OK condition but he included over 18K in receipts over the last couple of years.
New Motor, Transmission, Front end, Rear end, Leaf Springs, exhaust, tires and wheels etc.
I was pretty happy so I then spent another 20k plus on a new paint job.
The colors on the sides are painted on and clear coated over the top.
The guy that did it knocked it out of the park, it is awesome and straight as a laser.
I then put all new chrome moldings on the outside, except the grill shell and I had plans to do that but it never happened.
I also had a color matched bed liner sprayed in and added the rubber anti slip pad on top.
I installed a roll-n-lock to keep the weather out.
The picture of the dash cluster was taken when it was 114 in phoenix and the truck was idling with the AC running and it is nice and cool.
That is the original interior, dash, door panels, seat and Carpeting.
The undercarriage has not been painted or undercoated so you can see everything and for a 42 year old truck it is awesome.
Never been wrecked and everything including the original AM radio and digital clock works.
Dual gas tanks and the switch on the dash also works.
Even the original headliner is in great shape.
I hate to see it go but I found a 1966 Shelby and selling this truck is cheaper than Divorce !!!!.
